Ph.D. in Biology, research assistant of Institute for Plants Physiology of Russian Academy of Sciences, Department of cell biology and biotechnology. Chairman of Moscow pot plants club. Interests include leaf succulents and Episcias - plants from Gesneriaceae family.

An interest in cacti and succulents began in 1998 due to the book of iles Anderson. When the book had been read a first cactus was bought nd the collection was born."

Born in 1970 in St. Petersburg, Russia. In 1982-1986 was a member of St. Petersburg Cactus Club. Primary interests include large-flower Mammillarias and "living rocks" (Ariocarpus, Astrophytum, Aztekium, Epithelantha, etc). Lives in New Hampshire (USA). Works as an engineer in a fiber-optic telecom company.
