Hello, my name is Juan. I'm from Chile.

I'm very new in the study of chilean cacti (less than a year!). I`m starting to grow them of seeds.

Recently I was in Llanos de Challe National Park. There I found the first Eriosyce cristated in my life!

And then, walking in other hills I found what I think is Eriosyce eriosyzoides ssp. atroviridis var. huascensis Kattermann... Better I put the photos... :)

  • photo 1-4 - Eriosyce napina ssp. challensis.

And this is the other plant: photo 5, 6, 7 - Eriosyce eriosyzoides ssp. atroviridis var. huascensis Kattermann.

    And Bonus track cristatas!!

    • Copiapoa echinoides - photo 8.
    • Copiapoa dealbata - photo 9.
    • Eulychnia sp (breviflora?) - photo 10.

I like very much this web, but my english is so poor.

    please keep in touch, pescaomarino@hotmail.com
    many greetings from CHILE!!
